L\u00e0 Khu b\u1ea3o t\u1ed3n IUCN lo\u1ea1i VI, YUS CA l\u00e0 khu b\u1ea3o t\u1ed3n \u0111\u1ea7u ti\u00ean v\u00e0 duy nh\u1ea5t thu\u1ed9c lo\u1ea1i n\u00e0y t\u1ea1i PNG \u2013 cung c\u1ea5p s\u1ef1 b\u1ea3o v\u1ec7 \u1edf quy m\u00f4 c\u1ea3nh quan, ho\u00e0n to\u00e0n thu\u1ed9c s\u1edf h\u1eefu c\u1ee7a ng\u01b0\u1eddi d\u00e2n \u0111\u1ecba ph\u01b0\u01a1ng v\u00e0 \u0111\u01b0\u1ee3c Ch\u00ednh ph\u1ee7 PNG h\u1ed7 tr\u1ee3 b\u1ea3o v\u1ec7 l\u00e2u d\u00e0i. C\u1ea3nh quan YUS, bao g\u1ed3m \u0111\u1ea5t \u0111\u01b0\u1ee3c cam k\u1ebft b\u1ea3o t\u1ed3n c\u0169ng nh\u01b0 c\u00e1c v\u00f9ng \u0111\u1ec7m s\u1eed d\u1ee5ng h\u1ed7n h\u1ee3p, tr\u1ea3i r\u1ed9ng tr\u00ean 158.000 ha (390.000 m\u1eabu Anh) tr\u1ea3i d\u00e0i t\u1eeb c\u00e1c r\u1ea1n san h\u00f4 ven bi\u1ec3n \u0111\u1ebfn c\u00e1c \u0111\u1ec9nh n\u00fai cao 4.000 m\u00e9t. G\u1ea7n 70% c\u1ea3nh quan YUS \u0111\u01b0\u1ee3c bao ph\u1ee7 b\u1edfi m\u1ed9t v\u00f9ng r\u1eebng m\u01b0a nhi\u1ec7t \u0111\u1edbi r\u1ed9ng l\u1edbn, nguy\u00ean v\u1eb9n v\u00e0 l\u00e0 n\u01a1i sinh s\u1ed1ng c\u1ee7a h\u1ec7 \u0111\u1ed9ng th\u1ef1c v\u1eadt phong ph\u00fa. <\/p>\n\n

Chi\u1ebfn l\u01b0\u1ee3c d\u1ef1a v\u00e0o c\u1ed9ng \u0111\u1ed3ng c\u1ee7a TKCP gi\u00fap mang l\u1ea1i l\u1ee3i \u00edch v\u00e0 c\u1ea3i thi\u1ec7n m\u1ee9c s\u1ed1ng cho h\u01a1n 12.000 ng\u01b0\u1eddi d\u00e2n t\u1ea1i 50 ng\u00f4i l\u00e0ng tr\u00ean kh\u1eafp YUS. C\u00e1c ch\u1ee7 \u0111\u1ea5t b\u1ea3n \u0111\u1ecba v\u00e0 th\u00e0nh vi\u00ean c\u1ed9ng \u0111\u1ed3ng tham gia v\u00e0o c\u00f4ng vi\u1ec7c c\u1ee7a TKCP, bao g\u1ed3m nghi\u00ean c\u1ee9u khoa h\u1ecdc, l\u1eadp b\u1ea3n \u0111\u1ed3 \u0111\u1ea5t \u0111ai, gi\u00e1o d\u1ee5c, y t\u1ebf, sinh k\u1ebf b\u1ec1n v\u1eefng v\u00e0 c\u00e1c ho\u1ea1t \u0111\u1ed9ng ti\u1ebfp c\u1eadn b\u1ea3o t\u1ed3n. Theo h\u1ec7 th\u1ed1ng s\u1edf h\u1eefu \u0111\u1ea5t \u0111ai \u0111\u1ed9c \u0111\u00e1o c\u1ee7a PNG, h\u01a1n 90% t\u1ed5ng di\u1ec7n t\u00edch \u0111\u1ea5t \u0111ai tr\u00ean c\u1ea3 n\u01b0\u1edbc thu\u1ed9c s\u1edf h\u1eefu v\u00e0 qu\u1ea3n l\u00fd c\u1ee7a c\u00e1c ch\u1ee7 \u0111\u1ea5t theo phong t\u1ee5c.
